  美國(guó)Iowa State University的Patrick Schnable教授是中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)農(nóng)學(xué)與生物技術(shù)學(xué)院植物遺傳育種系長(zhǎng)江學(xué)者客座教授,是玉米基因組學(xué)、功能基因組學(xué)和雜種優(yōu)勢(shì)遺傳機(jī)理研究領(lǐng)域世界知名科學(xué)家。Patrick Schnable教授2011年在植物遺傳育種系繼續(xù)招收碩士研究生,在中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)完成碩士階段的學(xué)習(xí)和碩士研究論文工作,主要從事玉米基因組生物信息學(xué)相關(guān)研究,如通過(guò)全基因組序列分析,解析位點(diǎn)多態(tài)性與遺傳重組的關(guān)系等。Patrick Schnable教授主要通過(guò)來(lái)北京工作和網(wǎng)絡(luò)視頻實(shí)驗(yàn)室會(huì)議等方式具體指導(dǎo)研究工作。具體要求:
   1、符合中國(guó)農(nóng)業(yè)大學(xué)2011年碩士研究生復(fù)試條件的第一志愿和調(diào)劑考生。
   2、有較強(qiáng)的英語(yǔ)交流能力。

   4、有較強(qiáng)的計(jì)算機(jī)使用能力,熟悉或能較快掌握生物信息學(xué)軟件及其工作平臺(tái)(如Linux等),具備編程或能較快學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)算機(jī)編程能力。
   5、英文簡(jiǎn)歷(Resume)和申請(qǐng)信(Personal statement )。
